Awards & Recognition

Over the years Gold Dust & Walker Farms has received a range of recognition and awards. From environmental sustainability to having the best float in the Klamath Basin Potato Festival, it’s always nice to be recognized for your hard work.
Below are examples of the various awards we’ve received over the years.
National Potato Council 2010 Environmental Stewardship Award At the 2011 National Potato Council Annual meeting, Gold Dust & Walker Farms were presented with the Environmental Stewardship award.
Ag Tourism Farmer of the Year Award In 2010, the Klamath Falls Ag Expo held an awards banquet to recognize area farms and ranches for their hard work and raising the prestige of Basin ag.
Gold Dust Featured in PepsiCo Sustainable Farming Report In 2012 featured our farm in the Sustainable Farming section of their report.
Environmental Leadership at the 94th Annual Chamber Gala In 2015, Gold Dust & Walker Farms was nominated for two categories – the Big IDEA Innovation Award and the Environmental Leadership award.
2013 Klamath Basin Potato Festival Parade At the 2013 Spud Festival parade, the Gold Dust team took home two prizes for their float – first place in the Commercial Division and second for Best Overall Use of Theme.
