Boards & Commissions
Part of being involved with the community is being a part of various boards and accepting commissions.
Over the years, members of Gold Dust & Walker Farms have sat on the board of various organizations. Being involved with these organizations can be considered prestigious, but for the most part they give us an opportunity to help our community. Below are a few of the more notable boards members of our team have sat on.
National Potato Board In 2013 Weston Walker was appointed by Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to the National Potato Board. The NPB is instrumental in giving the potato industry a voice in Congress.
Klamath Water Users Association Tricia Hill served as a board member on KWUA for several years before being elected as the first woman board president in 2019. KWUA works to ensuring Klamath Basin irrigated agriculture gets the water it needs.
Klamath Drainage District Since 2019, Bill Walker has sat on the board of KDD, lending his experience to help make decisions on behalf of the irrigation district.
