Gold Dust & Walker Farms is in search of Logistics Assistant for our West Coast-based trucking company.
If you have experience in the transportation industry, good verbal skills, and are able to multi- task, this is the career for you! This position is at our Malin, Oregon office and is a full-time, year-round position with benefits. The working schedule should normally fall between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, but can fluctuate with times of being on call.
Applicants should have great communication skills, experience in an office setting, and computer experience; including strong Microsoft Excel experience.

Duties include: Maintain and coordinate export load schedule; assist manager to oversee a small fleet of Over-the-Road drivers; including scheduling, working directly with drivers, abiding by DOT regulations, and assisting with billing and payroll.
Looking for someone with the following skills and values:
- Proficient computing skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Access
- Punctuality, excellent communication, and proven organizational systems
- Detail oriented, trustworthy, good judgment
- Team player
- Transportation industry experience
- Sales experience
- Experience using pivot tables and creating complex workbooks in Microsoft Excel
