With potato shipping season in full-swing, we need help filling our customers’ orders in our potato processing plant in Malin, OR.
Gold Dust & Walker Farms is looking for help in our potato packing shed located in Malin, OR. This position is a great opportunity for those looking for employment that can lead to long-term employment options.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work well with your hands
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Spanish speaking skills preferred
- General knowledge of potato operations
Job Responsibilities
Depending onw hat are you are assigned to your responsibilities may include:
Bagger – Assure product and packaging do not touch no-production areas
Forklift/Loader – Assess for foreign material, assure loads are correct, assure correct bin is used
Grader – Assess for and remove foreign material, reporting spills, mechanical issues or high-risk foreign material
Wet Shed – Unloading the correct trucks to support traceability
Other duties – May perform other duties as assigned
Pay
$13.00 – $15.00 per hour
