What We Grow
If you’re looking for chipping potatoes, dairy-quality alfalfa or grain combined with exceptional customer service, you’ve come to the right place.
In 1973 our founders partnered on their first crop of wheat. Since that time Gold Dust & Walker Farms has not only grown in the number of acres we farm and our facilities, but we’ve expanded the crops we grow as well. From time to time new markets emerge and if we see an opportunity for us to grow, we try to take advantage of it.
Chipping Potatoes
In the Klamath Basin and up and down the West Coast, we’re known for growing and selling high-quality chipping potatoes. Our farms have the perfect soils to grow these finicky varieties, and we have the experience to help them thrive.
Dairy-Quality Hay
Between an average of 218 days of sunshine and rich soils, the Klamath Basin is home to many alfalfa farms. However, if you’re looking for dairy-quality alfalfa, we’re the partner you want to work with.
Grain
Watching a combine go through a heavy crop of wheat is pretty incredible, and we’ve seen it often on our farms. Conventional or organic, we grow wheat, malting barley and the occasional oat field.
We pride ourselves on not only growing great crops but also providing top-tier customer service. If you’re looking for a partner to help you grow, get in touch with us.
Relationships
There are a lot of great farms on the West Coast, and we’re proud to be among them. But we feel our experience in customer service is bar none and sets us apart from the others. When work with a customer, we treat them like a teammate and look forward to growing with them. Whether you’re a domestic customer or one of our Pacific Rim clients, we strive to grow the relationships we make.
